Effect of rainfall on assessment of hydrologic sustainability in Citanduy sub-watersheds

Abstract Hydrology is one of the criteria for monitoring and evaluation (monev) watersheds management as stated in Minister Forestry Regulation Number P.61/Menhut-II/2014. So far, use various hydrological parameters monev has not been evaluated whether these truly reflect condition watershed. This study aimed (1) to evaluate effect rainfall on each sub-watershed, which include: flow regime coefficient, annual sediment load, water index (2) watershed carrying capacity. Regression analysis was used see relationship between sustainability. crucial development forest land rehabilitation efforts restoring degraded land. Data collection carried out from 2008 2016 sub-watersheds Citanduy Watershed, namely Cijolang, Cikawung, Cimuntur, Ciseel, Upper Citanduy. From this research, it known that index, flood frequency are strongly influenced by so result evaluating capacity may vary depending rainfall. Besides being rainfall, load also affected cover, while slope affects load.
